On a misty day
The clouds floating with purpose
Somewhere to go somewhere to be
The airs coldness belying the coming season
No time for summer plans
All is over in this time and place
Cold winter snow wind
Coming to cover the world
Homes with steep roofs
Creeks flowing muddy already
No way to hide the seasons change
